"I was used to experiencing tired legs as part of my job," she explained. “I had been a hairdresser for 35 years, which involved long hours of standing. I often worked extended days to build my business, and on particularly long days, I would return home unable to move my foot, as it had swollen to twice its normal size."

Lorraine had sought relief through physiotherapy and medication, which helped alleviate the tingling sensation, but the pain would soon return.
